Westerhoff was selected to the first team alongside former Fort Dodger Jamison Poe, Jalen Wynter from Ames, Jeremiah Clark and Dashaundis Moore from Waterloo East, and Marshalltown’s Tre Brooks and Kyle Smith. Among them, only Wynter and Brooks are seniors.

FDSH head coach Willie Williams commended Westerhoff’s strong offensive performance throughout the season. Williams expressed his satisfaction with Westerhoff’s recognition by the league’s coaches and emphasized the need for him to continue improving as an all-around player, particularly in his floor game, defense, rebounding, and leadership as he enters his senior year.

Westerhoff averaged 14.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game for the Dodgers, who achieved their highest win total since 2018-19 with five victories. He maintained a 48 percent shooting accuracy from the field.

Senior Ty Adams, along with juniors Drake Warland and Carter Woodruff, and sophomore Tytrell Mosley, received honorable mention all-IAC North honors for Fort Dodge.

Williams praised Adams for his versatility and team-oriented approach, highlighting his contributions despite playing out of position. He also expressed optimism about the growth potential of Warland, Woodruff, and Mosley, urging them to demonstrate consistency and leadership in the upcoming season.

Adams averaged 6.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game, while Warland ranked second on the team with 12.3 points per game and led in steals.

Woodruff contributed 8.1 points per game along with a 75 percent free-throw shooting accuracy and 3.0 assists, while Mosley averaged 4.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Both are expected to join Westerhoff and Warland in the starting lineup next season, marking the third consecutive year they will play together.

Despite starting the season with an 0-8 record, Fort Dodge showed improvement by winning five of their last 12 games. Ames secured the IAC North title undefeated, followed by Waterloo East, Marshalltown, Fort Dodge, and Riverhawks in the final standings.

Williams emphasized the need for continued defensive improvement to establish a stronger identity for the program, emphasizing the significance of defensive consistency.

Jordan Jackson was the last Fort Dodge player to earn first-team honors, recognized in the all-CIML Iowa Conference squad for the 2018-19 season.
